9 paintings tell the story of the Firebird.This is Scene 5. "The circle Dance". Also known as "Rondo (khorvod)". This is a round dance of the princesses. One princess catches the eye of prince Ivan.
The Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky.
These images were painted while listening to the music, incorporating the energy and emotion felt from the music and putting that into imagery on the canvas.
