A collaborative project with Wilmington Symphony Orchestra
 
9 paintings tell the story of the Firebird.This is Scene 7. "Lullaby Sleep" also known as "Lullaby (Firebird)" This scene is when all the creatures are put to sleep by the firebird.
The Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky.
These images were painted while listening to the music, incorporating the energy and emotion felt from the music and putting that into imagery on the canvas.
